HOTU enters the BO3 as clear favorites in the Moscow Cyber Games European Closed Qualifier group stage, reflecting their #30 world ranking and established roster experience against Black Phoenix's significantly lower placement near the top 75–150. HOTU recently secured a 2-0 series win over CYBERSHOKE Prospects on maps including Dust2 and Anubis, showcasing consistent map control and individual ratings. Black Phoenix, featuring players like 4X1s, karnez, topo, and Salazar, has shown flashes in lower-tier CCT Europe events but remains inconsistent, with recent results including a forfeit and narrow wins against mid-tier opposition. Map pool familiarity, home-region LAN preparation, and HOTU's superior recent form in European qualifiers drive the market's implied probability edge for the Russian squad, though BO3 variance and potential stylistic counters on Black Phoenix's preferred maps leave room for competitive maps.

In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
