This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club finishes 2nd in the final standings of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No". If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Lens has mathematically secured second place in the Ligue 1 table following their 1-0 victory over Nantes five days ago, extending a seven-point lead over third-placed Lille and Lyon—who sit on 61 and 60 points respectively after 33 matches—with just two games remaining for the top teams. Superior goal difference (+33) ensures Lens holds the position even in a points tie, reflecting trader consensus at 100% implied probability amid PSG's title-clinching 2-0 win at Lens today. Lille's recent form offers no path to overhaul, as maximum points would still fall short. Only extraordinary scenarios like disqualifications or forfeited matches could challenge this outcome, though none are indicated.
