This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Most Valuable Player Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Shohei Ohtani holds the lead in the 2026 NL MVP market due to his sustained two-way dominance for the Dodgers, combining elite OPS production at the plate with strong pitching results including multiple wins and a sub-2.00 ERA. Pete Crow-Armstrong has closed the gap sharply after a prolonged offensive surge that boosted his batting average, home run total, and overall WAR, highlighted by a recent series sweep of Los Angeles where he matched Ohtani's power output while excelling defensively and on the basepaths for the Cubs. With roughly seven weeks remaining, the contest remains competitive as both players post nearly identical advanced metrics in a race defined by cumulative value rather than traditional counting stats alone.
