Recent confirmation of Conor McGregor's octagon return against Max Holloway in the welterweight division at UFC 329 on July 11 has anchored overwhelming trader consensus on Holloway. McGregor's first fight since his 2021 leg injury against Dustin Poirier aligns with Holloway's move up from featherweight for this main event in Las Vegas, backed by UFC promotional momentum and McGregor's active camp. This pairing edges out alternatives such as Michael Chandler due to stylistic appeal and scheduling fit. Late injuries, withdrawals, or unforeseen roster shifts remain realistic variables that could still alter the matchup before fight week.
