This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed term is mentioned by any member of the official FOX broadcasting team during the English broadcast of the Germany vs Ivory Coast FIFA World Cup 2026 match on FOX, scheduled for June 20, 2026 at 4 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." This market will resolve based on the events of the official match broadcast, beginning from the opening kickoff and ending at the final whistle, including any extra time or penalty shootout, if applicable. Pre-match and post-match commentary will not be considered. For the purpose of this market, the "FOX broadcasting team" refers to the officially assigned play-by-play announcer, match analyst, sideline reporter, and rules analyst assigned to this match by FOX Sports. Remarks made by other analysts, guest commentators, players, coaches, or any other individuals not part of the officially assigned broadcast team will not count toward resolution. Prerecorded clips, AI-generated audio or video, and commercials will not count toward this market's resolution. Any usage of the term, regardless of context, will count toward the resolution of this market. Plural and possessive forms of the listed term will count toward the resolution of this market regardless of context; however, other forms will NOT count. Instances where the term is used in a compound word will count regardless of context (e.g. joyful is not a compound word for "joy," however "killjoy" is a compounding of the words "kill" and "joy"). If this market requires a specified number of mentions of a person's first or last name, a full-name mention will count as one mention (e.g., if a market is about "Joe / Biden 5+ times," a mention of "Joe Biden" will count once). Muted, censored, or otherwise inaudible instances of a term will not qualify towards resolution. If the Germany vs Ivory Coast match is definitively cancelled, postponed, or otherwise does not air by June 21, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, "-No Qualifying Event-" will resolve to "Yes" and all other brackets will resolve to "No". If this match is interrupted, abbreviated, or only partially aired, this market will resolve according to what has occurred up to that point. The resolution source for this market is the official English broadcast of the Germany vs Ivory Coast FIFA World Cup 2026 match on FOX. Only remarks made live during the official broadcast will count toward this market's resolution. Transcripts will not count.Germany and Ivory Coast meet in Group E at BMO Field in Toronto on June 20, with both sides already holding three points after opening wins. Germany dismantled Curaçao 7-1 in their opener, while Ivory Coast edged Ecuador 1-0, setting up a matchup between a favored European side and an African contender focused on organized defense and counterattacks. A major roster development emerged on June 18 when forward Elye Wahi was denied entry to Canada amid an ongoing French spot-fixing probe, leaving Ivory Coast without a key attacking option and likely prompting commentary on squad depth and adjustments. Broadcast teams on FOX and Telemundo will reference historical encounters, current form, home/away dynamics in the expanded tournament, and any late lineup confirmations ahead of kickoff.
