Valve's infrequent updates to the Counter-Strike 2 map pool continue to shape trader views on Cache's return, driven by the map's longstanding reputation for balanced layouts and strong strategic depth among pros. Recent balance patches have prioritized tweaks to current rotations without adding legacy maps, while community and player discussions at recent majors have highlighted demand for Cache's tactical variety. No official Valve announcements have confirmed or ruled out inclusion, keeping resolution tied to typical operation or major event cycles. Factors like upcoming tournament schedules, roster shifts in top teams, and any patch notes addressing map diversity could still shift sentiment, though Valve's history shows changes often arrive with limited advance notice.
