Manuel Neuer’s return from retirement has locked in the goalkeeper spot, while the back four of Kimmich, Tah, Schlotterbeck, and Raum shows strong continuity. Midfield pairings centered on Pavlovic and Goretzka, combined with attacking talents like Musiala, Wirtz, and Havertz, reflect Nagelsmann’s preferred 4-2-3-1 structure. Key variables include recent form, fitness from the club season, and any late injury replacements such as Ouédraogo stepping in for Karl. Pre-tournament results and training performances in the United States will further influence who earns starts in Group E matches.
