China's group-stage dominance at the ITTF WTTC London 2026—sweeping South Korea 3-0 without dropping a game via Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu—bolsters their favoritism, yet Korea's resilience shines through recent upsets like Shin's March win over Zhu Yuling and the men's team's historic 3-1 victory over China. Lineup confirmations, fatigue from the tight schedule, or weather-neutral indoor conditions could swing odds, with South Korea's momentum posing realistic upset threat.
