Any replacement of the nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.Robert White holds the lead in the June 16 Democratic primary for D.C.’s non-voting House delegate, driven by a recent public poll showing him at 38% to Brooke Pinto’s 21% and strong name recognition from his at-large council tenure. Pinto, the Ward 2 councilmember, trails despite leading overall fundraising with over $1.5 million raised, as recent reports show White outpacing her in the latest filing period amid active early voting. The race to succeed retiring Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton features mutual campaign contrasts on local priorities like housing, economic development, and congressional advocacy, with White benefiting from broader voter outreach momentum. Lower-polling candidates including Kinney Zalesne, Gregory Jaczko, and Trent Holbrook remain marginal due to limited visibility and resources in the crowded field.
