Recent forecasts from models including GFS and ECMWF indicate Ankara will see a notable cooldown on September 14 after weekend highs near 32–33°C, with maximum temperatures centering on 26–27°C under west to northwest winds and limited cloud cover. This shift stems from cooler maritime air advection replacing the prior high-pressure ridge, producing daytime peaks consistent with early-autumn climatology for the Anatolian plateau. Ensemble spreads and minor differences in boundary-layer mixing create the tight contest between the leading outcomes, with resolution hinging on whether peak readings reach the upper or lower end of the narrow range before evening cooling sets in. Updated model runs and official observations through the weekend will refine the final consensus ahead of market close.
