**Forecast models from the National Weather Service and others indicate a high likelihood of scattered thunderstorms in Denver on September 18, 2026, with daytime highs centered in the low-to-mid 80s°F.** Cloud cover and precipitation chances around 40-70% will limit peak heating compared to clearer conditions, keeping temperatures close to the city's September average high near 80°F following a record-hot summer. Recent model consensus points to steering patterns and moisture from a passing system as key variables that could shift the daily maximum by a few degrees either way. Updated runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will provide the clearest signals ahead of market resolution.
