Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Los Angeles on September 12, 2026, points to morning low clouds and fog clearing to mostly sunny skies, with afternoon highs centered in the low to mid-80s under moderate onshore flow. This pattern aligns with climatological September norms near 76°F but incorporates slightly warmer guidance from current runs, elevating implied probabilities for the 80-81°F and 82-83°F bins. Onshore winds of 5-15 mph and marine influence are limiting further warming, while the absence of Santa Ana conditions or strong high pressure reduces upside risk above 85°F. Official observations from Los Angeles International Airport and downtown stations will resolve the market once the daily maximum is confirmed, with traders monitoring any late-day model updates or real-time temperature trends.
