Forecast models from sources including GFS indicate a peak daytime temperature near 28–29°C in Warsaw on September 9, driven by southerly to southwesterly flow advecting warmer air ahead of an approaching frontal system, combined with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies that permit strong solar insolation during peak heating hours. Afternoon wind shifts to northwest and increasing cloud cover or light precipitation later in the day introduce uncertainty in the exact maximum, helping explain why market-implied odds cluster tightly around 29°C (38.5%) and 30°C (29.0%) over 28°C (20.0%). Official observations and ensemble guidance show limited potential for 31°C or higher under current steering patterns and moisture profiles, while historical September baselines for the region support these moderate late-summer values before cooler air arrives on the 10th.
