Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models project a minimum temperature of 71–74°F for New York City on September 10, 2026, driven by mild overnight conditions featuring partly cloudy skies, light northwest winds, and limited radiative cooling under humid late-summer air masses. This consensus underpins the 97% market-implied probability for the 72–73°F bin. Historical September norms and recent model runs show minimal day-to-day variability in overnight lows absent major frontal passages. A realistic challenge would require sharper clearing or stronger cold-air advection than currently indicated, potentially dropping readings into the upper 60s, though updated guidance through evening remains stable.
