Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and ensemble models project overnight lows for Los Angeles on September 10 in the mid-60s to low-70s, driven by a moderating marine layer and light onshore flow following recent heat. Trader sentiment remains split because subtle shifts in boundary-layer moisture, wind direction, and cloud cover can swing the daily minimum several degrees either way around the historical average of 64°F. High implied odds on the coldest and warmest bins highlight model spread and the challenge of resolving exact thresholds amid variable coastal advection, with updated NHC-adjacent guidance and local observations expected to clarify the range before resolution.
