Persistent easterly flow from Atlantic high pressure, combined with typical late-summer moisture and scattered thunderstorms, is limiting overnight radiative cooling across Miami and holding forecast lows in the upper 70s to low 80s for September 11. National Weather Service guidance and ensemble runs show highs near 89–90°F with 60–70% storm chances, maintaining elevated dew points near 78–80°F that reduce temperature drops after sunset. Recent model consensus has shown little shift, though variable cloud cover and storm timing introduce modest uncertainty in the precise minimum. This setup aligns with historical September climatology, where Miami overnight lows average near 77–80°F absent strong frontal passages.
