Recent forecasts indicate a cooling trend for Cape Town on September 9 driven by strengthening southerly winds advecting cooler maritime air from the South Atlantic, following several warmer days. Official guidance and ensemble models show daily maximums likely peaking between 19–23°C under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, with the exact value hinging on the timing and extent of any afternoon cloud build-up that could limit insolation. Historical September maxima average near 18–20°C, but the current setup reflects typical spring variability. Updated runs from global models and local agencies over the next 48 hours will likely narrow the range and influence the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 21–23°C.
