Official observations from National Weather Service stations in the Los Angeles area, including downtown and coastal sites, recorded a daily minimum temperature of 72–73°F on September 11, 2026, aligning with late-summer climatology under weak onshore flow and minimal marine layer influence. Model guidance and surface analyses showed no significant cooling from typical September baselines, with dew points and wind patterns supporting stable overnight lows in that narrow band. The overwhelming market-implied probability reflects this verified data consensus. A realistic challenge would require a documented revision from primary reporting stations or an undetected microclimate anomaly at a resolution-relevant site, though such adjustments are rare once preliminary readings are confirmed.
