Recent short-term forecasts from regional meteorological models point to a stable high-pressure system and light southerly flow over the Yellow Sea, keeping Qingdao’s maximum near 25–27 °C on September 19, with ensemble spreads occasionally allowing peaks near 29–30 °C. Coastal moderation from the sea surface, currently around 23–24 °C, limits daytime warming, while clear to partly cloudy skies and modest humidity favor the 29–31 °C range over both cooler and hotter extremes. Historical September highs average 25–26 °C, so the market-implied concentration around 30 °C reflects traders weighting model uncertainty and any late adjustments in official guidance ahead of the daily observation window.
