Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Miami point to a minimum temperature near 76–78°F on September 20, with overnight lows in the upper 70s under partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorms. Persistent tropical moisture and high humidity limit radiational cooling, while light variable winds and the lack of a strong frontal passage keep the boundary layer warm. Model consensus shows typical late-summer conditions without significant cool-air advection, though heavier overnight rain could slightly enhance cooling toward the lower end of the range. Historical September minima average near 75°F, but the current warm pattern aligns with above-normal temperatures observed through summer 2026. Updated NWS guidance and any shifts in thunderstorm timing over the next 48 hours remain the key variables for traders assessing the 76–77°F versus 74–75°F brackets.
