Latest Met Office guidance points to a 21°C maximum in London on September 18 under partly to mostly cloudy skies with moderate southwest winds and minimal rain risk, aligning closely with ensemble model consensus. This places the day near or slightly above the long-term September average high of roughly 19–20°C, driven by a transitional Atlantic flow without strong high-pressure amplification or cold advection. Trader-implied odds heavily favor 20°C (58.5%) and 21°C (25.5%), reflecting the tight clustering of official and private forecasts around those thresholds and the low likelihood of deviations exceeding 1–2°C given current steering patterns and boundary-layer conditions. Updated model runs tomorrow morning will provide the final confirmation ahead of market resolution.
