This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Forecast models from the National Weather Service and private sources converge on a high of 96–99°F for Austin on September 20, 2026, under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with light southerly flow and dew points near 69°F. This setup supports the market’s heavy weighting toward 96–97°F, reflecting limited daytime heating from modest cloud cover and the approach of a weak front that caps intensification. Recent observations confirm highs in the upper 90s amid an ongoing warm pattern that has produced 48 triple-digit days this season, yet the timing of any showers keeps peaks below historical extremes near 103°F. Updated model runs and evening observations will refine exact resolution within the 96–99°F window.
