Forecast models from agencies including the Met Office and regional sources show a frontal system and southerly flow advecting cooler maritime air into São Paulo ahead of September 22, with daytime highs near 27°C giving way to overnight lows of 14–17°C amid widespread rain and thunderstorms. Cloud cover and precipitation will limit diurnal temperature swings while enhancing cooling through evaporative effects and reduced insolation. Model consensus places the daily minimum near 15°C, but small differences in frontal timing, wind speeds, and boundary-layer moisture create spread between outcomes above 17°C and below 14°C. Trader odds reflect this narrow but unresolved range, with 24°C-plus or sub-14°C scenarios both near even money pending final observational data.
