Current National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate an overnight low in the upper 50s Fahrenheit for San Francisco on September 22, driven by a persistent marine layer, light southwest winds, and typical late-summer coastal moderation that limits radiative cooling. This positions the 58-59°F bin as the market leader at 39.5% implied probability, with 56-57°F and 60-61°F bins capturing secondary trader support. Recent observations show similar upper-50s minima the prior nights amid stable high pressure and no incoming fronts or heat anomalies. Historical September averages near 56°F provide context, though current guidance favors slightly milder readings. The market will resolve on official thermometer readings, with final model updates expected overnight before dawn on the 22nd.
