Recent forecasts from multiple models show Jeddah highs on September 20 clustered near 35–37 °C under persistent sunny conditions and light westerly sea breezes off the Red Sea. Trader consensus between the closely matched 36 °C and 37 °C outcomes reflects minor model spread in peak afternoon heating, driven by exact timing of onshore flow, boundary-layer mixing, and any thin high cloud that could reduce insolation. Historical September climatology for the coastal station averages around 36 °C, with recent days recording 37–38 °C maxima that support the 21.5 % implied probability for 38 °C if stability persists. Updated runs from agencies such as the Saudi meteorological service or ECMWF over the next 48 hours will likely refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
