Freedom Flotilla Coalition launched five civilian vessels—Adalah, Kyriakos X, Lina Al-Nabulsi, Perseverance, and Tenaz-Al-Aqsa-Bangladesh—from a Greek island on May 13 to challenge Israel's longstanding naval blockade of Gaza, joining roughly 55 boats from Marmaris, Turkey, in the largest such effort to date. Traders price "No" at 74%, reflecting Israel's consistent enforcement pattern, including the April 29 interception of 22 Global Sumud Flotilla boats in international waters near Crete, hundreds of miles from Gaza, with activists detained and later released without charges. No flotilla has breached into Israeli territorial waters amid IDF Navy readiness and historical precedents since 2010, though UN rights experts recently deemed aid delivery lawful, leaving room for escalation risks before May 31.
