Trader consensus around 31–32°C for Shenzhen’s September 10 high reflects official forecast consensus of partly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms, which typically cap afternoon heating through increased cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Recent model runs show highs near 32°C under easterly flow and moderate humidity, consistent with subtropical September patterns where peak temperatures often occur before convective activity develops. Minor probability spreads between 31°C and 32°C hinge on exact storm timing and coverage, as heavier rain could suppress readings by 1–2°C while clearer intervals allow brief spikes. Updated China Meteorological Administration guidance and hourly observations through September 9–10 will refine these near-term probabilities.
