Trader consensus favors a 33°C high on September 8 under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions, with southeasterly winds and partly cloudy skies expected to limit cloud cover and allow strong daytime heating. Official Meteorological Service Singapore outlooks project daily maxima of 33–35°C through mid-September amid below-average rainfall and persistent dry air, consistent with model guidance showing afternoon peaks near 33–34°C. Minor haze from regional fires may slightly enhance insolation but is unlikely to alter the temperature distribution substantially. Local variations in urban heat islands or brief thundery showers could shift the exact peak by 1°C, though current data releases through September 7–8 will refine resolution criteria for the market.
