Preliminary results from Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election show voter turnout at 84.3 percent, slightly above the 84.2 percent recorded in 2022, with nearly all districts counted and final adjustments from late ballots expected to keep the figure within the same narrow band. Sweden’s historically high participation rates, stable electoral procedures, and absence of major disruptions or weather events have supported consistent engagement across eligible voters. The Swedish Election Authority’s updates confirm the count aligns closely with recent cycles, reinforcing trader consensus around the 84-86 percent range. Only significant revisions in remaining supplementary districts or official validation could shift the outcome outside this interval.
