Letitia Plummer holds a commanding position in the 2026 Harris County Judge race due to Harris County's strong Democratic lean and her status as the party's nominee after defeating former Houston Mayor Annise Parker in the May 26 primary runoff. Recent internal polling from September 2026 showed her ahead of Republican Orlando Sanchez by double digits, reflecting the county's consistent support for Democratic candidates in local contests. Sanchez, a former county treasurer, faces structural challenges in a jurisdiction where Democrats have held the judge's office since 2018. Trader consensus prices align with these dynamics, though shifts could occur from unusually low Democratic turnout, late-breaking campaign finance issues, or broader national political trends affecting down-ballot races by November 3.
