Incumbent Michelle Romero holds a commanding lead in the 2026 Henderson mayoral race following her strong performance in the June 9 nonpartisan primary, where she secured roughly 49.8% of the vote and advanced alongside former police chief Hollie Chadwick to the November 3 general election. As the sitting mayor since early 2023, Romero benefits from established name recognition, a record of city initiatives, and a clear margin over challengers in the initial round of voting. Trader consensus reflected in current pricing aligns with this structural advantage for an incumbent in a top-two runoff format. Chadwick's lower share of primary support and the compressed campaign timeline limit immediate pathways for a reversal, though factors such as voter turnout shifts, late endorsements, or unforeseen campaign developments could still influence the final outcome before election day.
