Paul St-Pierre Plamondon holds a clear lead in the Next Premier of Quebec market at 71.5% because his Parti Québécois has topped voting-intention polls for most of 2026 at roughly 30%, ahead of the Liberals and CAQ in multiple Léger and Pallas surveys. The PQ has also secured successive by-election gains that reinforced its organizational momentum ahead of the October 5 fixed-date election. Christine Fréchette’s 13.4% reflects the CAQ’s post-Legault transition and declining satisfaction ratings, while Charles Milliard’s 13.0% tracks the Liberals’ modest rebound among non-francophone voters. Trader consensus prices these probabilities against a still-fluid campaign in which roughly half of voters remain undecided and seat projections hinge on regional swings in francophone ridings.
