With the FOMC having delivered its July 29 policy decision, attention shifts to August releases including initial jobless claims, producer prices, and consumer credit, which will shape near-term rate expectations and volatility. Treasury yields and broader risk appetite remain key transmission channels, while seasonal factors and positioning ahead of potential late-summer volatility could influence intraday or closing prints during the August 3-7 window. Traders monitor these indicators closely for any revisions that might alter implied probabilities across price thresholds.
