Recent National Weather Service-aligned forecasts project a high of 93–94°F in Atlanta on September 14 under clear skies and light northerly winds, consistent with the market’s near-even split between the 92–93°F and 94–95°F bins. This above-average reading—versus the 1991–2020 climatological mean of roughly 84°F—reflects persistent high pressure and reduced cloud cover following earlier showers. Key variables that could shift the final maximum include minor model adjustments in boundary-layer mixing, urban heat-island effects at the official Hartsfield-Jackson station, and any late-day convective development. Updated NWS guidance and real-time observations on the 13th and morning of the 14th will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
