Latest National Weather Service and model guidance highlight increased cloud cover, southeasterly flow, and a 40-50% chance of showers and thunderstorms for Dallas on September 3, which would limit daytime heating relative to the preceding hot, mostly sunny days. This drives the close market-implied odds between the 88-89°F and 90-91°F bins, with traders assigning roughly 64% combined probability to those ranges. Afternoon convection timing and coverage remain key variables that could shift the daily maximum by a few degrees either way, consistent with typical late-summer variability around the 93°F climatological average. Updated model runs and official forecast discussions over the next 48 hours will likely refine these probabilities.
