Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models project Miami highs of 89–91°F on September 9, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms likely under a moist tropical air mass and east winds of 5–10 mph. This positions the 90–91°F bin as the market leader at 52% implied probability, as typical late-summer convection and cloud cover often cap daytime peaks near the seasonal average of 89–90°F. Recent early-September observations showing occasional 92–93°F readings sustain the secondary 36% odds for that range, though increasing model consensus on storm timing reduces the chance of exceeding 93°F. Updated NWS guidance and hourly model runs ahead of the date remain the key variables that could shift trader positioning.
