Official forecasts from the German Weather Service (DWD) and major models including GFS and ECMWF project a maximum of 16–17°C in Munich on September 22 under partly cloudy skies, northwest winds of 5–10 km/h, and high pressure near 1029 hPa. This cool anomaly relative to the 18.8°C climatological average stems from northerly flow advecting stable air, supporting the market-implied odds of 61% for 17°C and 24% for 16°C. Minor model spread around afternoon peaks and potential for slight clearing introduce limited uncertainty, with new runs expected to refine exact thresholds before resolution.
