Northeast winds and persistent cloud cover are suppressing temperatures across the New York metro area, with National Weather Service forecasts for Central Park and area airports converging on a September 23 high near 66°F. This cool, stable pattern under northeast flow has positioned the 66-67°F bin as the clear market leader at 54.5% implied probability, while adjacent 64-65°F and 68-69°F outcomes capture the modest range of model and site-specific uncertainty. Historical September norms near 75°F underscore the current anomaly, and with resolution just two days away, traders are weighting the latest official guidance and limited expected variability most heavily.
