Recent forecast model consensus points to a high of 25–26°C in São Paulo on September 19, driven by persistent easterly flow, widespread cloud cover, and limited daytime heating under a developing low-pressure system over the interior. Official guidance from sources such as the Met Office and regional models shows maxima clustered near 25°C, with light drizzle possible and dew points around 15–16°C suppressing further warming. The close market split between 26°C and 27°C reflects typical ensemble spread in boundary-layer mixing and cloud timing, where even modest breaks in overcast skies could add 1–2°C. Historical September averages near 26°C provide context, while the next high-resolution model runs will clarify whether afternoon insolation supports the upper end of the range.
