Latest KMA and ensemble model guidance points to a daytime maximum near 28°C in Seoul-Incheon on September 18 under partly cloudy skies and light easterly flow, supporting the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 27–29°C. Mid-September climatology features moderating temperatures after peak summer warmth, with daily highs typically 26–28°C absent strong advection or clear-sky radiative heating. Current runs show modest model spread driven by variable cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing, keeping the 27°C and 29°C outcomes competitive while limiting odds on extremes. Updated KMA briefings and next GFS/ECMWF cycles on September 17 will narrow resolution criteria tied to official Incheon station readings.
