Current forecasts from multiple models and official sources, including Singapore's Meteorological Service, point to a daily maximum of 33°C on September 16 amid prevailing southwest monsoon conditions and below-average rainfall. This aligns with typical September climatology, where mean highs reach 31.6°C but frequently hit 33–34°C during drier periods with southeasterly or southwesterly winds. Trader consensus at 99.2% implied probability for 33°C reflects the tight clustering of real-time observations and model runs showing afternoon peaks near this threshold, with low chances of significant convective cooling or haze impacts altering the outcome. A rapid increase in localized thundery showers or unexpected model revisions could shift the recorded high downward, though current data show minimal divergence.
