Forecasts from multiple meteorological models converge on a daily maximum of 24–26°C for Munich today, driven by mild southwesterly flow, limited sunshine from extensive cloud cover, and scattered thunderstorms that cap afternoon heating. This places the market-implied peak squarely in line with the leading 26°C (44%) and 25°C (27.5%) outcomes, well above the 1991–2020 climatological average high of roughly 20°C yet below the 29.8°C record. Thunderstorm timing and intensity introduce the main uncertainty, as earlier or heavier rain would suppress the peak while clearer breaks could briefly allow 27°C readings. Traders are weighting recent model runs and real-time observations showing temperatures climbing into the mid-20s before precipitation arrives.
