Forecast models from sources including the GFS indicate Miami overnight lows on September 22 will likely settle in the mid- to upper 70s, driven by persistent high dew points near 74°F, extensive cloud cover from scattered thunderstorms, and light southerly winds that limit radiational cooling. These conditions align with late-September climatology, where the 1991–2020 average low reaches 76.6°F amid typical tropical moisture. Trader consensus favoring the 76–79°F brackets reflects tight agreement across recent model runs, though minor shifts in storm timing or boundary-layer mixing could push the official Miami International Airport reading into the 74–75°F or 80–81°F range. Updated National Weather Service guidance and the final 24-hour minimum will determine resolution.
