Gavin Williams' strong start (5-1, 2.70 ERA) gives Cleveland Guardians a clear pitching edge over Kansas City Royals' Noah Cameron (2-2, 5.40 ERA) in this AL Central divisional clash at Kauffman Stadium, fueling trader sentiment amid Guardians' tied-for-first 18-17 record versus Royals' 15-19 mark. Kansas City's Vinnie Pasquantino remains day-to-day with back tightness, likely sitting after aggravating it last week, while Guardians miss SS Gabriel Arias (10-day IL, hamstring) but boast José Ramírez's hot bat. Guardians hold 2-1 head-to-head edge this season from April series; both clubs 4-6 in last 10, with mild evening weather (60s, low rain risk) unlikely to disrupt play. Home-field and bullpen depth could sway a tight Royals pushback.
