Gabriel Bonfim’s unanimous decision victory over former welterweight champion Belal Muhammad on June 6 at UFC Vegas 118 has elevated the Brazilian to contender status with a five-fight win streak and 20-1 record. This result in a five-round main event has intensified matchmaking discussions across the division, where several ranked welterweights remain viable options. Bonfim has publicly called out Jack Della Maddalena, yet no official announcement has followed. The crowded landscape—featuring fighters like Michael Morales, Sean Brady, Carlos Prates, and others—reflects the wisdom of crowds in pricing, as multiple stylistic matchups, scheduling factors, and title implications keep probabilities tightly bunched near even odds without a clear frontrunner.
