Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas on September 22 project a high near 94°F under mostly sunny skies with northeast winds of 5–10 mph, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 90–95°F bins. This above-average reading stems from persistent warm air advection ahead of a weak front, with minimal cloud interference or precipitation expected to suppress daytime heating. Model consensus supports this range, though minor differences in boundary-layer mixing or dewpoint evolution could shift the peak by 1–2°F. Traders weigh these official guidance details against historical September variability and the two-day lead time to resolution, when updated model runs and morning observations will refine the final maximum.
