Florida's 19th Congressional District remains a stronghold for Republicans at 89.5% implied probability, driven by its deep-red partisan lean—historically delivering large GOP margins in Lee and Collier counties—and a voter registration edge favoring the party by over 20 points. Incumbent Rep. Byron Donalds vacated the seat in February 2026 to pursue the Republican gubernatorial nomination, opening a crowded primary featuring candidates like former Rep. Madison Cawthorn and Jim Schwartzel, who boasts $1.28 million cash-on-hand. The Florida legislature's late-April redistricting, passed 83-28 in the House, further solidified GOP advantages statewide, including FL-19. Democrats trail at 10.5% amid weak fundraising and no standout contender ahead of the August 18 primaries and November 3 general election.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
