The wide field of more than two dozen declared or potential candidates for Mexico's 2027 Guerrero gubernatorial election has produced closely matched trader probabilities, with leading options such as Carlos Reyes Torres and Alejandro Bravo Abarca trading in the high 30s to low 40s percent range and no single contender exceeding 41 percent. Early positioning by figures linked to Morena, PRI, and other parties, combined with limited polling and the absence of formal nominations or major campaign events, sustains the tight contest. Fragmented voter preferences across the state's diverse regions and ongoing party negotiations further limit separation among frontrunners at this stage.
