Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to a mostly sunny Thursday in Atlanta with light southeast-to-southwest winds, supporting a daily high in the low 90s and positioning the 90–91°F and 92–93°F bins as the leading market-implied outcomes. This aligns with an ongoing warm spell, as early September highs have frequently reached the mid-90s, well above the 1991–2020 average of 85°F for the date. A modest 20% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms introduces minor uncertainty around peak readings but is unlikely to suppress the maximum substantially. Traders are weighting official observational data at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, with resolution hinging on the verified daily high reported by NOAA.
