Recent National Weather Service and model guidance points to sunny conditions with light easterly winds on September 9, supporting a high near 89°F in Atlanta, which aligns with the tight clustering of market-implied probabilities around the 88–93°F range. Persistent onshore flow from the Atlantic has moderated temperatures following earlier September peaks in the mid-90s, while clear skies promote diurnal heating without significant cloud cover or precipitation to suppress the maximum. Historical climatology for the date centers near 85°F, but current steering patterns and lack of frontal passages favor values slightly above average. Updated model runs and any shifts in wind direction or moisture ahead of the September 9 observation window at the official Atlanta station remain the key variables that could tilt resolution toward the 90–91°F or 92–93°F bins.
